From empty old barn to holiday home
When we started, the barn was an empty, overgrown shell of old brick. We cleared it, kept the brick walls, built a new roof and turned it into the home you'll stay in.

We converted our old barn into a cosy hideaway for two to four people. Leave the car, pull on your boots and walk straight out into the hills. Come back to a warm room under the beams, with the fields spread out below the window.

We put the living space upstairs so you get the best of the view. You sleep downstairs, then climb the stairs in the morning to a bright open room with the fields laid out in front of you. There's room for four, and it's at its best for a couple or a small group of three.
We're tucked away at Wallop, just outside Westbury, a few miles from the Welsh border. It's quiet here. Keep an eye out for red kites over the fields and listen for the owls after dark. Our hens are often pottering about too, and they lay the eggs in your welcome basket.
Footpaths and lanes start at the gate, so you can walk or cycle without getting in the car. Long Mountain, the Breiddens and Offa's Dyke are on the doorstep. The Long Mynd and the Stiperstones are a short drive. The pub is 2.2 miles away and the shop 4.1 miles, and Westbury and Minsterley cover anything else you need.
